How to add the Comments with disqus widget to Notion

1. Navigate to Disqus

2. Create a Disqus account if you don’t already have one.

3. Install Disqus on your site

4. On Select Platform choose Universal code.

On the platform step, you will see “Universal Code” in light blue at the bottom of the page. Click on this.

5. Copy the code.

6. Now head over to a custom code widget.

This is a Potion widget that allows you to put your own code into. We will paste the code you copied into it.

7. Add the html <div> to he html tab.

You will first need to create an account with Potion Widgets. Then create a new code widget. Copy the html code. It will look like this. 👇

8. Paste in the javascript.

Just paste in the code that is inside the <script> tags. You will need to remove the comments. It should look something like this. 👇

9. Copy the widget url

After you save, Potion will create a link where the widget is hosted. The preview will look something like this. 👇

10. Paste url in Notion

Head to Notion and add an embed block. You can do this by typing a forward slash and typing embed. Paste the url in your clipboard to the block.
